Bethany Lowe Designs has been capturing the look and feel of Johanna Parker’s signature folk art since 2008. Vintage style Halloween candy containers, handcrafted with intricate paint and trims, are a mainstay in this unique collaboration. It has grown to an array of collectible characters including black cats, ghosts, jack-0’-lanterns, witches, frankensteins, owls, moons and bats which continue to enchant collectors. Thanks to much interest for BLD + JPD holiday designs, the Peppermint Magic collection was born in 2022. From Merrymint Ornaments to frosty sweet snowmen, these jolly products are growing to add more coordinating delights. Stay tuned for new spooky sweet spooks and Christmas characters in 2024!

As part of JPD Partners in Craft, The Sawmill Shop makes it possible for countless collectors to enjoy the charm of Johanna’s original folk art at home! Erik McCartney and team fuse images of Johanna’s sculptures and graphic designs to flat, medium density fiberboard / compressed wood, then cut and create contour plaques featuring her creations. JPD Fans enjoy arranging these handmade items within their seasonal displays. Often available at various scales, Sawmill Shop’s dummy boards can be simply propped, mounted or displayed on a small easel or stand. With unfinished edges and backs, these pieces can be used in crafting too. Making holiday home decor has truly turned into a business for The Sawmill Shop! As they could never find Christmas and Halloween decor the way they liked it, they decided to start making their own!  Now, the Sawmill Shop carries a range of Johanna’s holiday delights, even including New Years!
